How to Get There
Nineties Berlin is located along the Spree riverfront in Berlin’s Mitte district, within walking distance of attractions such as the Berliner Fernsehturm TV Tower, Berlin Cathedral, and the DDR Museum. The closest U-Bahn station is Klosterstraße (line U2), just a short stroll from the exhibition, while trams M4, M5, and M6 also stop right nearby— hop off at Spandauer str./Marienkirche.
When to Get There
The museum is open daily until 8pm. The quietest time to visit is typically in the morning, although an evening visit is arguably more atmospheric—head over to nearby Alexanderplatz afterwards to see the illuminated TV Tower.

Among the many exhibits at Nineties Berlin, standouts include a section of the Berlin Wall, accompanied by a poignant tribute to those who lost their lives trying to cross it; a mirrored gallery dedicated to Berlin’s legendary Love Parade street party; a 270-degree video gallery; and a colorful collection of 90s sneakers. A number of multimedia displays also offer insight into the era’s political and social changes, including a 15-minute video on the 90s and a variety of video interviews, music snippets, and art installations.
