Enchanted Kingdom Tours

Enchanted Kingdom
Home to a wealth of rides, with live shows and encounters on weekends and holidays, the Enchanted Kingdom is a popular amusement park in Santa Rosa, south of Manila. The 42-acre (17-hectare) park hosts attractions that run from roller-coasters to rapids, from bumper cars to boats, as well as dining and shopping options.

The Basics
Travelers usually visit the Enchanted Kingdom as a day trip from Manila. Kids under 3 feet (91 centimeters) tall get free admission, and kids under 4 feet (122 centimeters) tall enjoy discounted rates. Park passes are cheaper and the park is less crowded during the week (excluding holidays), but weekends feature attractions such as firework shows and cultural performances. It’s worth booking Enchanted Kingdom tickets in advance not only to beat the lines on weekends but to ensure the park is actually open: It occasionally closes for special events.

Things to Know Before You Go
  • The Enchanted Kingdom is a great day out for families with kids.
  • Rides and devices comply with international safety standards.
  • The Enchanted Kingdom offers discounts to visitors with disabilities and has wheelchairs available on-site. While the park is wheelchair-accessible, most individual rides are not.

How to Get There

The Enchanted Kingdom is located in Santa Rosa, about 25 miles (41 kilometers) south of downtown Manila. The park runs infrequent shuttle buses from the Ayala Square parking lot in Makati. Alternatively, catch one of a range of public buses from the Buendia terminal to Balibago station, then pick up a tricycle to ride the last 1.5 miles (2.5 kilometers).

When to Get There
The Enchanted Kingdom’s opening hours vary throughout the year, although it’s usually closed on Mondays and Tuesdays and often closed on Wednesdays. Weekends, when it is usually open late morning to evening, are the busiest time. The park is sometimes closed for holidays and private events: Confirm availability by booking tickets in advance.

The Best Theme Parks from Manila

As befits the citizens of a former American colony, Filipinos love their theme parks. While Manila’s Kidzania is the only brand most international travelers will recognize, options extend beyond the Enchanted Kingdom. Also consider Star City in Pasay, Sky Ranch in Tagaytay, the Halloween-themed Scream Park, and the Mall of Asia Amusement Park.
