Wolf’s Lair Private Day Trip from Warsaw

Wolf’s Lair Private Day Trip from Warsaw

star-5
3
Every history enthusiast should visit this place, as Wolf’s Lair is a complex of huge and tremendous bunkers, located in a picturesque land, full of woods and lakes, called Masuria. A secret complex of multi-storey bunkers, completely hidden from the world, was the witness to the most important moments of the Second World War. Despite being blown up during the retreat of Germans in January 1945, the Wolf’s Liar is still very impressive. The colossal concrete bunkers spread on the huge area show the military impetus and power of the Nazi Germany. Hitler wasn’t the only one to quarter here – many of the most important people of the III Reich, like Goering, Bormann, Keitel and Jodl, had their bunkers in Wolf’s Lair. On our way back we will visit one of the three places: Mamerki, where you can see more bunkers, a medieval castle, or a beautiful, baroque church with spectacular interior. The choice is up to you!

Kraków & Auschwitz-Birkenau Concentration Camp Full-Day Trip from Warsaw

Kraków & Auschwitz-Birkenau Concentration Camp Full-Day Trip from Warsaw

Visit former German Nazi extermination and concentration camp, Auschwitz-Birkenau, and one of the most beautiful polish cities, Krakow. We will spend the first part of the day in Auschwitz-Birkenau, the infamous symbol of Nazi domination in Europe. It was the largest extermination and concentration camp ever built on the old continent. From 1940 to 1945 the Germans imprisoned there almost 1.5 million people, the majority of whom were Jews. It is estimated that they murdered about 1.1 million people there. After visiting Auschwitz, we will go for lunch in a nearby town and after a short drive we will reach Krakow. The former capital of Poland has its own unique atmosphere. There are no skyscrapers, but in Krakow you can literally breathe history. Here, until the 17th century, the seat of Polish kings was located, but the beginnings of the city date back to the end of the 9th century. Today, Krakow is the second largest city in Poland and one of its most important cultural centers.
