Best Father’s Day Gift!

I booked this trip last minute for father’s da, because my dad loves sailboats and even though we are native Charlestonians we had never ridden a sailboat in our own home harbor. Captain Whit and Crystal were amazing! My dad sat and talked with them the whole time and had a blast! They were both incredibly personable and charismatic people with some pretty awesome lives and therefor stories. Crystal was super helpful and put the drinks that we had brought along in the fridge for us and while we were sitting on the beanbag chairs up on the front of the boat, she brought us our snacks and was genuinely super helpful! We would however like to know Captain Whit’s review of Hot Mustard. 😁 All in all it was fantastic, super relaxing and beautiful! Thank you so much Captain Whit and Crystal, Doyne had a blast!

Our best friends from GA and AZ came to CHS for a getaway weekend. We had the pleasure of sailing with Captain Wit. We had a fabulous evening of laughter, sunset and gorgeous scenery. We will do it again soon. It was amazing!

An absolute MUST experience!

The unquestionable highlight of my wife and my week long trip to Charleston was our 2.5 hour sailing charter with Wit (the captain) on his 36 foot beautiful sailing vessel. Wit (and his first mate Crystal) were delightful individuals with interesting back stories as well as (in Wit's case) encyclopedic knowledge about the history and current status of the harbor and the city of Charleston. The weather was perfect and the expert sailing of our two person crew made the entire experience simply PERFECT. Wit also gave us a recommendation for a seafood restaurant in town which we wound up eating at three times..............It was THAT good. If you want an incomparable sailing experience while in Charleston, this one is the one to take.

Spectacular sailing experience

We had the most amazing time on this trip! We felt like we were alone on this boat and yet we had two very helpful sailors to not only do all of the amazing sailing but also help get us drinks and serve our picnic to us that we brought along. They were fantastic. The boat was very clean and the atmosphere was perfect! Definitely a highlight of our trip!

This is a must do in Charleston. Whitt and his first mate were fabulous. The boat is perfect for 6 people. Beautiful inside and out. They really are full service. Bringing us drinks and food that we brought the entire trip. We just sat as a family and soaked in the sun and enjoyed the day! Will definitely do it again.

Captain Glen was a wonderful host. Great knowledge about the history of the Charleston and sailing. Ship was very comfortable the bean bag chairs in front are dreamy. Sunset was perfect, Captain moved ship so we could take “the perfect picture.” Highly recommended!

We had a great day sailing the Charleston Harbor. Our captain, Wit, was kind, patient (65-80 something year olds), knowledgeable and fun. The sailboat can accommodate 4-6 people. We were a group of four. We appreciated the care we received from help getting off and on the boat, our lunch being served to us (we purchased ahead of the charter at the Brown Dog Deli in Charleston which was delish) and Wit being attentive if our drinks needed to be refilled. We had the perfect day on the water! Definitely a must do when visiting Charleston.
