This was a great last minute decision. Our guide, Jun, was excellent. The places were of a type we would never have tried independently. We are pescatarian, but she managed to work around that. The food was delicious and Jun was very informative.

This food tour is a must do while in Saigon. Out tour guide JK was awesome. He showed us food places we would have never found or tried ourselves. He even added something to the tour cause we wanted to try Sea snails. He took great photos, had great info, and was overall such a nice guy.

Great insight into local Vietnamese food

This tour is simply amazing! We were able to try traditional Vietnamese street food that we otherwise would have been to afraid to try on our own. The flavours of all of the dishes (at least 6 we tried) were amazing however the real highlight of the tour were our tour guides, J-Kay & Larry! Their knowledge and passion for food was obvious, they taught us a lot about Vietnamese cuisine and even language. These two guides are an asset to the tour company and made our tour the best! After all of the dishes, we even had home made ice cream created from coconut milk which was so good! Thank you again to T-Kay & Larry who deserve a well earned pay rise!

The tour with J-Kay was phenomenal and definitely what any tourist needs to start their trip in Saigon. The food selection was fantastic but the unexpected highlight of the tour was the interesting and nuanced facts and insights J-Kay provides as you walk through the streets of District 3. J-Kay was very charismatic and we felt we were in good hands the entire time. It was a really invaluable experience. Thank you J-Kay!

My wife and I had a tour with Finn on our first night in Saigon/HCMC. He was incredible. Knowledgeable, friendly, charming and helpful. We walked away with not only an incredible dining experience, but insight into Vietnamese society and its history. Not to mention some recommendations for the rest of our time in Saigon. We were picked up at our hotel by our guide ( MrJ?) who proceeded to give us a lively and informative tour of district 3 in Saigon, as apparently many locals still call it. The food stops all supplied excellent and freshly cooked food. So much of it that my wife and I had to start sharing helpings. Our guide explained all the dishes and ingredients very well and gave us lots of information about the area. Very interested also to have the former GI apartments pointed out. Our guide was a delight and would happily recommend him to anyone. When my wife was tiring he took some short cuts without cutting any food visits

We book foodie tours in most new cities to which we travel, both in the US and abroad- always through VIATOR, which has never failed us- mostly by providing a sure-fire method to contact local operators. We rely heavily on ratings of other travelers when picking from multiple operators. This tour with Street Food Man was again, excellent. Food was awesome. Our guide, "Seven" (note that here in SEA, people will go by what number child they are in a family), was knowledgeable not only of the foods, but the areas in Saigon we walked through, making the tour much more than just great food. We would highly recommend this tour. Only one caveat (to many foodie tours- especially if one chooses a street food tour): several of the stops were literally on the street, among the bustling local people. This is a huge part of the fun- but folks who prefer inside dining in a more private atmosphere should look for these features in reviews. Go for it- this tour was great fun. And a lot of food. One last thought- while we enjoyed all the food, our hosts, including Seven, are very OK with one not eating something, or finishing the plate.

Excellent evening. Finn met me at the hotel on time and guided me to some off the beaten track establishments for a culinary and historical education. Plenty of food and variety, as much as you could eat, although Finn also arranged for small portions when it was clear I was filling up! Definitely not to be missed if you’re a foodie!

I set out on the evening food tour with J-Kay in Ho Chi Minh, and had the best time. The food at each stop was incredible and the pace of the tour was well managed. Most importantly, my guide J-Kay was really great to work with. He was a young student who was articulate and entertaining throughout the entire tour. Without a doubt, he made things super fun and I'd highly recommend him and the tour!
