Being able to get a quick overview of the city was very helpful. There was some confusion with the third bus driver. We were trying to re-board while others wanted to buy tickets. He kept telling us that we couldn’t board his bus catch the next one. I’m guessing he was taking a break. The next one came and told us this was not the bus and we should catch the one we just came from. Several passengers were getting upset. The first driver gave in and took all of us on board and resumed his route. I understand the language barrier but it would have helped if he told us why he couldn’t take us and r that we should watch for the next blue bus and not the red bus. Other than that my wife and I had a great time getting on and off and getting to know Munich.

Hop off bus like all others waiting waiting but value for money

Waiting to finish the first loop as they made us get off the bus and wait for another. Hate waiting. The staff were quite helpful in this experience. They were from Kosovo and added to the travel experience. THey are all crazy about Americans, and look it up as to why. Biggest learning experience of the day.

The speaking part did not match where you were passing so very hard to know what you were seeing. Hard to find the stop to get on and off. Stop 5 osef but should have found some where in tha area to stop

It is a fraud. They charged me for reservation and bus never came. I waited over an hour and other folks also had to leave and called and no response from operator. I want my money back

What you would expect from a tour like this. Didn’t hate it but didn’t love it. Buses ran every 30 or so minutes but had to change to keep going through the full loop. Sometimes I like these tours because they help you get around the city in addition to explaining the sights, but this was purely to see what the city had to offer. I think you could do a lot in Munich on your own.

First day there was some kind of demonstration which not allowed us to hop on and off the bus as the risk exist no bus would come anymore, the second day we waited almost 1 hour at the castle for the next bus to hop on, the staff told us the red bus was for the long tour and the blue for the small city tour, so first we took the red for the grant tour and when we returned to the start we hopped on the blue one, but this one also did the grand tour, so very confusing.

We did not enjoy our HO HO experience. First a driver of a red bus told us we first had to get our tickets from a blue bus before we could ride a red bus. He told us to walk up this street a little ways to the blue bus stop (even though the blue bus stops where we were). After walking a long ways we went back to the original bus stop and caught a blue bus which only went half way then told us we had to transfer to another bus. About 20 minutes later we transferred to a red bus (first one to come) and it made us get off half way through the route and wait 40 minutes for the next bus. We spent more time waiting for buses than we did riding them. Very poor service.

Information for the pick-up/drop-off locations was vague which made the locations hard to find. The English audio didn’t always match up. Still, the tour was a good way to traverse the city and gain some background information.

Like all City Tour Buses, its worth doing to get your bearings and learn some local knowledge however Munich is very Walkable therefore the bus doesn't seem to take you far. If you are taking tour id ensure to take the extended area which takes you to Olympic Park and BMW museum which are a bit further out and worth visiting

Best way to see Munich, might have to do the 48hr one though because the Nymphburg Palace itself could take 2 or more hours. Enjoyed it, just might miss some of the extra things because the guide only speaks in English for housekeeping items and when the next stop is.

Bought a two day pass. On day one, automated audio was not in synch with where the bus was. We also had a guide speaking in German, meaning we couldn't clearly hear the automated guide. Day 2 - waited for a bus for 95 minutes, none came. There are other options in Munich for Hop-Off tours - would strongly suggest you use them. This was truly a waste of money.

First of all, I was not familiar with Munich and the tour company did not give a map on-line of where to pick up the bus. All they gave were names of stops but no map. Second, they did not return emails nor phone calls and their "chat" service did not know what was going on and asked me to contact the local tour company (which never answers the phone). Third, they skipped stops and left people wanting to get on and off!!! Completely unprofessional! The tour is in many different languages however, the German your guide is so loud, that you can not hear the audio tour in your own language. And fourth, not enough stops. They always seem to be in a hurry! Go with another tour company or get a private tour depending on how much time you have in Munich.
