4-Waters Eco-Adventure Trip from Phuket Including Lunch

Just a beautiful day. Absolutely poured down with rain in the van journey to Kayaking but stopped when we arrived. Water so warm. Spent a couple of hours on water then headed to hike and waterfall. Truly beautiful area. Was a little slippery on some areas. Gorgeous lunch. And then some chill time in hot springs and ice bath. Lastly the sunset and a sleep in the van on the way back to hotel. A huge thanks to Bon for his organisation, happiness and fun. And thank you to A for driving us everywhere. You both made the day super special. Recommendations for the day: good grip trainers for the hike. Spare dry trainer socks and clothes. Deet spay for hiking and kayaking. Swimming costume. Sun cream. Sandals or flipflops. There’s plenty of water provided, towels, and snacks en-route between locations. Lunch is late around 3pm but hat is really not a problem.

We started the day with a nice hike. We then went kayaking in the mangrove. Short, but really interesting. Then, we had an amazing lunch. We ended the day by relaxing at the spa and watching a sunset on the beach. A perfect day!

The Cons: 1) Be wary of the pictures regarding this tour, as they may be slightly misleading. The beginning we did a hike to a couple waterfalls. They said you have to be athletic for the tour. A more accurate description would be “athletic AND have hiking experience.” I say this because you don’t just walk along a trail, you hike up the waterfall and it is quite dangerous at some parts (slippery). 2) They don’t tell you that the kayaking is only for like 20 minutes in a wide and shallow river banked by mangrove trees. It was still fun but very underwhelming and short. 3) Be prepared to eat a very very late lunch. We didn’t get to eat until 3:00pm. For those who didn’t eat a big breakfast it was rough. They did provide a nice pineapple snack at one point which made it tolerable. 4) Lastly, be ready for a lot of drive time. In total we were on the road for about 4 and a half hours and the drives were not very scenic. The Pros: 1) Since my girlfriend and I love hiking and have plenty experience, that part was really fun for us. We had a total blast. 2) We really enjoyed lunch at a nice restaurant in the forest, even though it was late. 3) At the end, they take you to a really nice resort that has a hot spring pool and ice bath. The hot spring is NOT natural, it is basically a huge hot tub about 15 meters in diameter. And by hot, I mean HOT. The resort and short walk to the edge of a pier on the beach was a pleasant close to the tour. Hopefully this review will give you some more specific info about what to expect! I would advise not to bring any children on the tour due to the hike.

Our guide was amazing..well planned and spaced out trip. The last leg of hot springs is in a resort. We thought it would be a natural one.

First off, our your guide Jam was great and did an awesome job leading us through the rainforest. She was pleasant and a great tour guide. The bad part about this trip is that it doesn't match the description. You do not visit a rubber or pineapple farm at all. The kayaking through the mangroves was a short circle through a wide a lake. None of the pools in the waterfalls in the rainforest you visit are deeper than 6 inches, so no you won't be taking a dip in any of the waterfalls. Lastly, the beach we visited was dried up near the pier, so no you won't be swimming in the ocean either. The hot spa and Ice cold pools were cool, but 2+ hours there was a bit much. Overall it wasn't a bad tour, I actually quite enjoyed it. But, I have to rate it low because it is no where near to matching what was described when booking it. P.S. the hiking through the rainforest is no joke. It's very slippery and challenging. If you're overweight or have a physical handicap it might be too much to handle.

This was an awesome way to pack several activities into one day. Our tour guide Jam was great and made sure we were all having a wonderful time. The hike through the national park is quite challenging, and I'm not sure if it was because it was rainy season, but it was very slippery. Several in the group slipped and fell. If you're not comfortable doing some light bouldering, climbing over tree trunks, and going down some very steep hills, this might not be the tour for you. However, if you are up for some adventure and the experience of a lifetime, then this is the perfect trip! I was a solo traveller and bonded well with the others on the tour, this is a great way to meet new friends if you are traveling alone. I would highly recommend!

This was absolutely the biggest rip off. The mangroves surround a big boat channel and are disgustingly polluted. The tour guide abandoned us in the primary forest and never came back to find us... very dangerous hiking for people with no experience. If one of us would have sprained or broke an ankle, would have totally been screwed. Then dropped off at a “hit spring” which was a spa with2 hit pools and left for over 2 hours ... guide was no where to be found. Left the tour after that, could not have imagined continuing this nightmare of a tour.

Our guides Nim and Boy were brilliant, the trip was amazing and much better than expected. Lunch was great. Every part was different but fantastic. Highly recommend this trip. Nim’s free photos were a great added bonus.

What a day of wonderful surprises. From kayaking in mangroves, to rainforest and waterfalls, an amazing lunch, relaxing and rejuvenating hot springs and finally a stunning sunset on the beach. We would highly recommend this day of exploring the beautiful National Parks on Phuket.

This was my favourite tour in Phuket. The kayaking and the hiking was not so comfortable in the heat so make sure you're capable of doing both! The guide was the nicest Thai local I met and we were so happy with the service and the trips elements in general. P.s. the spa was a treat.
