Returns to original departure point
During the Middle Ages, the silver mines of Kutna Hora brought fame to the lands of the Czech Crown, making this town the richest and most powerful in the region. Today, the mining town boasts several UNESCO-listed sites and retains its medieval architecture, history, and heritage.

Your tour begins with pickup in central Prague. Hop aboard your coach and begin the journey toward Kutna Hora.

Upon arrival, follow your guide to discover the area’s top sites. Admire the Gothic design of St. Barbara's Cathedral, dedicated to the patron saint of miners, and now a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Stop at the former royal mint that once manufactured Prague groschen and gold ducats. Visit the Sedlec Ossuary, also known as the 'bone church,' a small chapel estimated to display the skeletons of 40,000 to 70,000 people, each arranged artistically to form the chapel’s décor.

Your tour concludes with transportation back to your original departure point in Prague.

I highly recommend this trip and hope you get such an amazing guide, Sarah, like we did. I feel privileged to experience what I did.

Our guide Sara was awesome!!! She was extremely knowledgable and not only gave us a great detailed tour of Kutna Hora, but gave us a lot of information on Prague as well. We booked a total of 3 day tours out of Prague during our 8 day stay in Prague and Sara was the best tour guide we had. I think Kutna Hora was the nicest town we saw outside of Prague. Even though the weather was snowy and slushy, we had a wonderful time on the tour. Sara and the driver did a wonderful job. I would highly recommend this tour and recommend asking for Sara as the guide.

We booked this for our last full day in Prague. It was a lovely way to chill out with my boyfriend. Beer on tap (literally) The bath was lovely, all the herbs etc put into the bath smelt lovely and did wonders for my hair! Massage was lovely after the bath. Highly recommend. Only thing I would say please please please maybe put locks on the changing rooms! I walked in on a lady fully naked and then her husband then walked in on me! Also make sure you go to the correct site! Check! Check! And check again. A++++

Bone church was a big let-down & we weren't even allowed to take photos. Walk around the town wasn't very interesting.

This was a half day trip starting in the afternoon. Our guide Sarah was very informative, energetic, friendly, kind and helpful to all passengers. The tour included visit to the ossuary and St Barbara’s Cathedral. Sarah guided us nicely for both these places. I wish the Italian Court with the coin museum was also part of the trip (especially since Kutna Hora was famous for mining silver and minting coins). Or, atleast we should have been given free time to explore this museum on our own. We were given only 45 minute break at the end to get something to eat or use the restroom but I think that was too short. I agree with an earlier reviewer that the bus was kind a small. We had only half the bus full with about 10 or 11 tourists, so it was okay for us. But if the bus was full with all passengers, it would have been very tight. Other than these points, it was a nice trip! These type of trips take away all the pressure of planning the trip on your own by train! I recommend this day trip out of Prague!!
