    When you disembark from your cruise ship, please make your way outside to the terminal entrance. One of our representatives will be waiting for you displaying a greeting sign that reads: “ Rostock & Schwerin – Grand Tour”. The tour departs at 9:00AM. For cruise ships docking at 9:00AM, the start will be at 9:30AM. If your ship is delayed, don’t worry. The starting time of your tour will be postponed to within 30 minutes after your ship docks. If for any reason you are not with us by this time please call us immediately.
    • Confirmation will be received within 48 hours of booking, subject to availability
    • Not wheelchair accessible
    • This tour is not recommend to guests with walking disabilities. The group will walk 20 to max. 30 min at a time, approx. 4 km altogether.
    • The route of the tour and the timings provided are a subject to ship’s docking times, traffic, special events and any other circumstances out of our control. Please note we will not be able to provide a refund if the tour needs to be amended or shortened because of any of the above.

    Aside from the beginning of the day where it was not so clear locating our tour guide (the signage was ambiguous) the tour was perfect! We had a great tour guide, Karen, who knew a lot about the history of the area. The castle was beautiful. Definitely recommend!

    We decided to take this tour because we feel Berlin is too far, and you have to be on the road for half the time. This tour is an excellent alternative. Our guide is great. The Bus was very comfortable. Schwerin is amazing, lunch is also very good! We particularly love the local beer!

    Had to be on top of her (Karen) to be able to hear her. She didn't wait for you to catch up or anything. So, if you didn't hear, too bad! And she would call you out and embarrass you in front of the group. Accidentally took pictures where I wasn't supposed to . Had I heard the instructions, I would've happily obliged. Better to get a listening device for everyone in the tour so that all 15 people won't be on top of her. Restaurant had horrible food. Worst sausage, sauerkraut and potato meal ever! A TV tray would have been better.

We take great care to ensure all is working smooth and our guests have a memorable experience on their short visit. I will certainly review with the guide and also the restaurant what the situation was on this tour. We keep the tour groups small with a maximum size of 26 participants, often less, so everybody has the chance to chat with the guide and listen in easily. So far this has been very well received. The restaurant we chose for lunch specifically offers this traditional German dish for us, which unfortunately cannot be found in many restaurants in our region in the summer. The reviews of the quality have been very good. Again I thoroughly regret you had negative impression of our services. We constantly strive to improve.     Decided to forego expensive cruise selections and take this excursion to Warnemunde, Rostock and Schwerin Castle. It was a lovely day and Karin was a knowledgeable, interesting and friendly guide. Also included lunch/drinks! Well organized and the bus was comfortable.

    This tour was well organized and well within our expectation. The tour guide Karen was very responsible and knowledgeable. The scenery is beautiful. There is lots of history and culture with these two little town. The German lunch was delicious. I'd highly recommend this tour especially for cruisers with port of call at Warnemunde, Germany.
