Having Julie as our tour director.... she rocks!! The history of each location was extremely interesting; finding new places to eat and be entertained next time I visit; overall the best tour I've experienced since visiting Savannah........

Good, but could be better

Brenden, our guide, was great. The tour was very well organized and efficient. First two stops were good, the other stops were just okay. We expected better food selections based on tours we have taken in other cities.

Nice stroll in Savannah

Juli took us on a nice stroll down by the powerhouse waterfront and along the shopping district. She was very knowledgeable and fun. The food samples were a good cross section of Savannah cuisine, with the shrimp and grits, she-crab soup, sausage roll and honey tasting all excellent. Plenty of opportunities to stay lubricated along the way as well. All in all a pleasant way to spend a few hours in Savannah with a knowledgeable local.

Some really good food, some very so so.

Unfortunately (never great to see that word as the first word in a review...), the first two places that we had tidbit treats from were far and above better that the others. Shrimp & grits was lovely. The crab bisque was great. The sausage roll at the 3rd place was good as well, though a glass of water would have been great. Actually, that should be a MUST at all stops. The stuff at the prohibition museum was not good (at best) - though the museum was very interesting and worth a tour of that whole thing (though you don't get that on this tour). The shepard's pie was very so so. Those last two stops need to be re-thought actually. The final place was Savannah Bee - very interesting but an actual deserty dish would have been appreciated somewhere instead of just a tasting of honey. Our guide was fun, but overall, the food could and should have been better. Not real sure about the "cultural" aspect of this tour and what that was about in the title - didn't get much of that. Overall, fun though.

Very clean and within walking distance to everything. Check in was convenient. Not much of a view but that didn't matter to us.
