A must do in Belize!
, Jan 2022
Our captain and awesome guide Charlie was funny and very knowledgeable, pointing out all the different types of fish. At the beginning of the tour, he listed out what we hoped to see (manatee, rays, nurse sharks, turtles, seahorses) and we got to see them all! Swimming with the manatee was a highlight for sure! The lunch they provided was great and we were amazed with their efforts to be eco-friendly.
Full Day of Fun - Go and Enjoy!

Swimming with sharks and tuna, Hol Chan area, and overall the tour guides were excellent and personable (Renee and Dominick aka, "Google")
Best Snorkel Tour in the Caribbean!!
, Dec 2021
A must-do tour in Belize - Salt Life Eco Tour will make sure your snorkeling trip is a special one! I've snorkeled in 7 different countries in the Caribbean, but this was the best experience so far! The vast marine life seen in the ocean is majestic - Eagle rays, sting rays, sea turtles, nursing sharks, and manatees!! The boat crew and captain will go out of their way to make your trip extra special as well - I ended up taking 2 snorkeling trips with them and loved every moment of it!

WOW 😄 we are honored to be held in such high regards. We are happy you did two tours with us and was able to experience our consistently great eco friendly experience. The wonders of the Belize Barrier reef speaks for itself but having a caring, funny and knowledgeable crew really makes a huge difference. Thank you again for taking the time to give us feedback.
Perfect bucket list tour!

The tour guides, Salam and John, were great! It was a long fun day, we even got to see two manatees! Can't recommend enough!

Thank you for choosing to go with us and taking the time to give us feedback.
Very enjoyable-just change the boat to one that has better stairs

Must do if you are in Caye Caulker! We were giving the option to wear life jackets, which is much easier and allows you enjoy the fish, and snorkeling equipment. We were also given lunch: a much dryer stewed chicken, Chinese food like rice and rum punch. Our tour guides Salam and Art were very helpful, patient and knowledgeable about the area and fish. We made MANY stops and saw all different varieties/colors of fish, we saw nurse sharks, manatees, sting rays and turtles. We also made a stop in an underwater shipwreck and a hotel by the end of Caye Caulker that had sting rays and mini sea horse sanctuary. My only recommendation would be to use a boat that had better stairs. We all come out with leg injuries when trying to climb up from the water to the boat.

I have snorkeled all over (Hawaii, Cozumel, Cancun, USVI, Aruba) and hands down, this was the best snorkel trip ever! Saw a manatee, tons of coral, fish, rays, & nurse sharks. Our guide, Salam, was incredible w his narration and putting us in the best spots. Do this trip!!!

Tour guides were amazing! They were knowledgeable, funny, laid back and nice. We swam with manatees, nurse Sharks, stingrays, and Dolphins. The coral reef was amazing and beautiful. We even saw seahorses! The guides provided free fresh conche ceviche and rum punch that was delicious!
A memorable day snorkeling, but not for the right reasons
, Feb 2020
The title of this tour caught my attention, but I didn't do my homework before booking it. Manatee season in Belize is during the summer months. We spent an hour of our December tour sitting in the boat while the two guides "looked" for manatees. We also spent an uncomfortable amount of time sitting on the boat waiting for the two guides to "MacGyver" the boat's engine. I was deeply concerned each time we stopped to actually snorkel that the engine wouldn't start again when we were ready to move on from that spot. The tour's description promises that they take GoPro photos videos for you, which they did. Unfortunately for us, we never saw them. There were two boats that went out together on our tour day - we met some of the people beforehand who went out on the other boat. When we received the email of the day's photos, I recognized the people we had met earlier, and only photos from their boat's GoPro were there. When I emailed Daniel asking where our boat's photos were, he said they had combined the files from both GoPros, and that he had sent us everything. I had checked out GoPro near the end of the day, and we had taken over 100 pictures/videos on our boat alone, and the email they sent had only about 80. Lesson learned the very hard way to have your own equipment to take underwater photos! One final thing to note is this tour leaves from Caye Caulker. We easily got there from Ambergris Caye, but it was added time on the water, adding to an already long day. Everything else aside, there were some great sea life encounters in the water - lots of nurse sharks, rays, colorful fish, coral and several turtles. The conch graveyard was quite unique, and the turquoise waters were very beautiful. No matter the company, you have a good chance to see all of the above, as all of the snorkel boats go to the same areas. My recommendation is that you don't pick this company to take you there.
